That’s Biden’s answer if there is a spike.  Shut down the economy completely.  How many businesses at this time won’t reopen because of the last shut down?  It will be devastating for many, many more small businesses.  Devastating for families that can’t pay rent, utilities, buy groceries, buy gas to get to the store.  It will hurt the low income families most.

On top of that it will hurt kids that are in lower income areas the most.  Many of these kids need that 1 on 1 classroom teaching.  Most kids without that constant 1 on 1 with teachers will not be able to concentrate or have the discipline to finish their work on their own.   Many need the sports activities to keep them on track.  Sports are the carrot that keeps them focused on their school work.

    Shut it down?  Stupid.

Well maybe if we had already done that or addressed it like it was a threat from the beginning instead of listening to an Oompa Loompa maybe we wouldn’t even be having this discussion right now.

Maybe if that stupid fucking Oompa Loompa wouldn’t have replaced the pandemic response team and plan of action from the previous administration with his unqualified son in law, maybe this wouldn’t even be an issue.

The problem is Trump is not a leader, he’s not a legislator and he’s not prepared to handle adversity.

Shutting it down may be the best solution to overcome this. Most other countries have a handle on this, but it’s running rampant here, that comes down to lack of direction and lack of leadership.
