The more you read about Neal Brown as a coach, the more you like him. It’s not just about the game day X’s and O’s. IMO this approach will attract better people and better athletes. In the long run you need both sides of the recruit to make the program better.
The old coaches who were good at their profession didn’t formalize the pillars talked about in the 5th Quarter Program, but their players had these values and principles instilled in them anyway.
This 5th Quarter Program is just another reflection as to the type of coach that we have hired. I feel confident that his tenure is going to be successful and that the difficult thing in the future will be holding on to him.
