Cool morning, but headed for 90 degrees this afternoon here in Stillwater.

The line on the game has dropped to 6.5 points, apparently a decent bit of money coming in for WVU to drop that from 8.5 early in the week.

Stadium opens two hours prior to kick, will check in as soon as I’m situated in the press box.

Certainly all eyes will be on the status of Oklahoma State quarterback Spencer Sanders and whether or not he’ll play today. Kevin is in the press box at Boone Pickens Stadium, and he’ll have the report as soon as the Cowboys’ come out on the field for pregame warmups.

This will be the test to tell us how we fit in the hierarchy of the B12 this year.  W on the road and we could be top 3 with a great base to vie for the top in the next few years.  Blow out L and we have a lot of work to do.

OSU media calling it 50-50, which means “wait and see”.  A few players on the field for OSU now – tracking.

WVU had no positives in its Friday COVID-19 tests before departing Morgantown.

    That’s great news.

    What about OSU?

69 players, but that does not include Drew Joseph, who Neal Brown said was travelling. So that would be the normal 70 on the travel squad.

Have not seen any releases in that regard Butler.

True freshman defensive end Sean Martin not on the dress list today. He didn’t play against Eastern Kentucky, according to Neal Brown, because he was contact traced to a couple of COVID cases. I don’t know if that’s still the problem or if there is another reason.

Simple question.   What are the numbers in  (##)?

The number in parenthesis usually indicates their locker number if it’s different than their jersey number.

    Their locker numbers.

This is my first WVU game in the press box since 1983.

Sanders takes a few throws, and is walking up and down the field. Seems to be testing the ankle. Have not seen him run yet.
