Glad that Jevon was named first team, but how is Devonte Graham of Kansas picked the preseason player of the year over Carter!!??? Graham is good, but Carter and Graham had basically the same scoring numbers (J.C. 13.5 points a game and Graham 13.4), while Jevon averaged more rebounds (5.0 and 3.1), and obviously the biggest factor, at least it should have been, is the fact that Carter is the reigning NATIONAL defensive player of the year. Did adidas buy the preseason player of the year award for the Jayhawks?

Sorry for the rant, but I think this is a huge snub.

More motivation to kick their tail one more time in Morgantown, and why not in Lawrence as well!

Completely agree Greg. If Jevon Carter played for Kansas he would be the unanimous preseason Big 12 player of the year.
