The shoulder injury Nate Adrian suffered late in the season ultimately turned out to be much worse than anyone realized. Nate underwent surgery on his shoulder in early April, and it was discovered at that time that he had a severe tear in his labrum in his left shoulder. The tear was repaired, but the rehab for the Morgantown native could stretch to as much as 10 months. Obviously he was a senior at WVU this past season, but the injury could effect his basketball future. Nate was setting up meeting with various agents in hopes of exploring a professional basketball career, whether that was overseas or in the U.S. But now those plans are on hold as he rehabs from the surgery.
