Big one today folks. Predictions? Guesses on Mr. Ahmad’s stat line?

    #45711

Good questions on Esa. I think he plays well. I’d say 18 minutes, 12 points and six rebounds.

I’m thinking Esa can get 15-18 minutes. For WVU to win, it would be very helpful if he could get five boards and help push Tech deeper into the shot clock. For points, not so much volume, but type. If he can get a couple of scores in the lane and on the blocks, and a stickback off an offensive rebound, that helps open up some other areas of the court.

Zach Smith will not play for Texas Tech today. Foot injury.

Six points and four rebs per game. Know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but one of the very versatile ten-man rotation for the Red Raiders.

I’m still stunned that Zach Smith’s averages have dropped so much this year. He’s a 20/10 guy when he’s faced the Mountaineers in the past. I don’t wish injuries on anyone, but I don’t mind him being out of the lineup today.
