When he hit all those threes and had a career scoring night, it was the absolute worst thing that could have happened. The defense and the blocked shots, he doesn’t seem to care about anymore.

It’s not just one it’s Sags, West, Esa, Harris ….. all of the bigs are just out of sync. .

All four of those guys have been very underwhelming, for sure. And those were the guys you were building your team on.

This could be one of those years where the parts just dont mesh.

Do you think we have a few guys looking at next year? Looking to build their resume’s so they can put more $$$ in their pockets?

I would think that all 3 would look to build their resume by playing within Huggs system and taking the TEAM to the highest level. But it doesn’t seem to be working that way.

I think he’s really focusing in on Esa with his comments. That’s always been his fallback when Esa was struggling, “he is talented and very coachable”

Sags seems obvious but not sure that’s really where Huggs was directing his words.

I agree with this. We have struggled more this year than any year since Huggins got rid of people and brought in Press Virginia.

There is no floor leadership and no flow whatsoever on offense.

Not sure which 3 you are referring to, but Sags is working himself out of the NBA, Esa will be lucky to hold onto a European team, and Lamont is too streaking. If anyone is wanting to build his resume for next year may want to start getting it going now, because no one is going to get rich with the way they are playing now.

Basketball is still a team game so there’s enough responsibility for everyone. WV needs at least 2 shooters for the motion to be effective and score points – we don’t have them. Beatle’s the closest thing to a shooting guard but he can’t carry this team.

Lamont can hit it, but he isn’t the one that can create his shot. We just don’t at this time have a Butler type. We have a lot of talented Bigs, but none that can take you off the dribble. And unfortunately our G’s are spot up shooters also.
