His ability to shot fake and step in for the “easy” jumper was a beautiful site last night. If he continues to perfect this his offensive game will take off and allow him to really stress a defense. His size forces the defender to get up in his face on attempts from 3 so if he can just keep doing what we saw last night it becomes a pick your poison and while I may be mistaken I believe he was perfect on those step in jumpers last night, maybe 4-4 or 5-5?

Now add in an ability to pass it in the same scenario and our offense has another “play through” option. Probably not happening in the immediate future but one can hope.

Fun to watch these kids develop.

He certainly grew up a lot in the UVA game. 4-9 from 3. 4-4 from the line. 22 pts. 4 reb.
Usually Huggs would pull him for some stupid brain fart, but he is showing more confidence and keeping his head in the game. Nice to see him grow like this. With all of this, he still needs to work harder putting the ball on the floor going thru the paint and as always his D.
