His issues go back a lot further than college. He didn’t go to Boys Town for kicks and giggles. Boys Town is a residential treatment center outside of Omaha that assists children ages 5 to 18 who display behavioral problems. Allen was diagnosed with ADHD, bipolar disorder, and depression. Wichita is a five-hour drive to his support system in Boys Town, Nebraska.
Those “issues” will be with him all his life. He needs much more support than a 5 hour drive. Hope the Shockers have someone on staff or at least close to the program to help him control his issues. Very few of these kids go out and seek support by themselves. If not handled correctly or left unchecked they could become a huge problem.
