It might be announced tonight after the second Kansas-KSU game wraps (Kansas leads 6-4 after seven innings, and would be WVU’s first-round opponent if it wins). My best guess would be 9 a.m. local (10 a.m. Eastern).
As said, WVU plays its first game of the Big 12 Championship in OKC on Wednesday against Kansas. It’s the very first game of the tournament, and the first pitch is slated for 10 a.m. ET
All games will be televised on FCS until Sunday’s championship contest, which begins at 2 p.m. and will be televised on FSN.
If WVU defeats Kansas on Wednesday it will play at 5 p.m. (ET) Thursday against the Texas Tech/Kansas State winner. If West Virginia loses to KU, it faces the TTU/K-State loser at 10 a.m. Thursday in an elimination game.
