Now on ATTSports.  This WLSC (you can tell I’m old) team can really shoot.  @ 8:31 WLSC 90 – Fairmont 66

West liberty can shoot.  They also move the ball very well and fast.  —-  Hey Huggs, take a look.

These guys really know how to shoot the 3 ball.  .416 as a team.  Shooters with over 50 attempts.  .514(107 attempts), .466(88), .422(64), .411(175), .353(51), .318(66 attempts).

Biggest thing I see is they move the ball all around the court.  Lots of passing, Lots of movement without the ball.

Sounds like some ball players at both schools. Reminds me of my years at FSC( 1971-1975) em boys played

some basketball. I remember Butch Haswell(guard)would drive to rim, get stopped 8-10 feet from rim, stop

and bank a shot in. Maybe the U guards need to break out some old tapes. Of course they would be shocked

to see/find out there was no such thing as a 3 point shot. Can not remember but I do not believe dunking was

aloud. I think one year they did not lose a game. That being said when they went to Kansas City for NAIA

tourny they would get their ass handed to them…lol. But in conference play they were great, we students

love it. Also playing for Joe Retton was tough he did not(would not)put up with the posers of today. But he

had no trouble getting players to come to Fairmont State College.
