Sophomore Sarah Osborn of the West Virginia University rifle team finished second in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions at the 2019 National Junior Olympic Shooting Championships (NJOSC) on April 18 at the Olympic Shooting Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

A native of Hampton, Virginia, Osborn finished first in the final with a 455.5 total, earning eight additional points toward her final score of 2331. Osborn shot a match score of 2323 with relay totals of 1165 and 1158.

Along with freshman Jared Eddy, Osborn will compete at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup for Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun in Suhl, Germany, July 12-20.
