Check our WVU – TCU preview as the Mountaineers look to hold on to second place in the Big 12

Preview: West Virginia Mountaineers – TCU Horned Frogs

Teddy Allen supposed to be out of the doghouse and available to play tonight at TCU.

Sagaba Konate will start off guarding Vlad Brodziansky tonight. Vlad ranges outside as much as in, so that’s a different challenge. Watch to see how Sags handles that.

    Teddy Allen will play tonight.

Talked with some WVU people about playing roles for Esa and Teddy. For now, Esa won’t play at the two, and will stick to either the three or four depending on matchups, rotations, etc. So, if both are playing together, Teddy is at the two.

Don’t like getting Sags away from the goal on defense but that’s a good plan from TCU and that dude can shoot so no “Sagging” off on the perimeter.

Might be a night that Sags is not a big part on defense but should have his way on the other end if he is patient.

    Gametime! Let’s GOOOOO!

Sloppy with the ball, bad decisions. Not a good first four minutes.

Call a charge on Carter and then the exact same play on the other end, they call a block on Beetle.

OK, really early, but nice start for Allen. Nothing forced, ran court well, good timing on give and go with Carter.

I love Konate’s blocks, but WVU has to quit giving up drives to the rim with the only defense being Sags.

    Somebody gotta guard #12!

Just as Kevin said, I like Teddy’s start. Didn’t try to do too much and let the game come to him.

    Somebody gotta guard #12!

What’s bad is that his 3-point shooting was emphasized in the scout.

Now Teddy is trying to do too much.

    2 on Konate. Not good.

    Flagrant? That’s a flop.
