Actually, if what I read is correct, he can keep his name in the draft and, if he isn’t drafted, terminate his relationship with his agent and return to school. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him try that route. Of course, then he would run the risk of getting drafted as a late throw-away pick, nullifying his college eligibility, with no real route to an NBA roster.April 2, 2019 at 4:59 pm #88098April 2, 2019 at 5:34 pm #88103
I can’t see where his evaluation will be any different than last year. He didn’t play enough to fully develop a consistent outside shot and with the injury, the evaluation may be worse that last year for the NBA.
I have no doubt that he could find an opportunity overseas or possibly in the developmental league but I do not see either path leading to the NBA at this point. Staying at WVU may actually give him the best developmental route assuming Culver stays and Oscar adjusts well to college ball. In this instance he would have the opportunity to play more of a forward role though playing near the basket may always be his best position just not in the NBA.April 2, 2019 at 7:50 pm #88119
He looks a little out of shape in the article lead picture. He and Huggs need to have a crucial conversation before he gives up his eligibility. He needs to be all about team if he stays in Morgantown. Otherwise Huggs should facilitate his exit. He can make money playing ball next year, but I highly doubt it will be in the NBA.April 3, 2019 at 7:26 am #88129April 3, 2019 at 8:25 am #88133

How does this effect our Recruiting.? Not sure on whether to Recruit another big man or not. It is getting late in the year for recruitingApril 3, 2019 at 6:18 pm #88191

We better bring in some bigs. We’ve down 4…West, Harris, Gordon and Esa…and all but Esa should have been coming back. I wouldn’t bet a dime on Culver and Sags being back either.April 3, 2019 at 6:23 pm #88192
Why would Culver leave?
Nor polishes enough for a pro career and I do nor see being late for a game as being a deal breaker.April 4, 2019 at 9:15 am #88233
