I have heard on several broadcasts that if the player has control of the ball when the ball comes in contact with the ground it’s a catch if they have both feet in bounds. So I am one fan that’s confused. Because if it had been UT…TD. The reversal of the lateral was a travesty. We had 2 interference calls not made that would have kept one drive going and a second pit us in position to win. I am old school I guess. There was plenty of time left, I would have gone for the field goal. Our defense was playing well. If we had made it…we were only down 1 point and could have gone for the field goal to win it. I like coach Brown but that one I disagree with especially in an away tight game. My two cents worth. GO Mountaineers!🏈
I think I heard Tony say it was his planting foot/leg. During the game.
We also played more disciplined. Only 5 penalties. That is what I wanted from this coaching staff. Still I struggle with some of the play calls especially at the end of the second quarter. But all in all, happy with today’s performance. Now let’s keep this going in Texas!

Wow! Go Leddie!
Is it me or have we stopped trying to field the punts. We are losing a lot of yards the last 3 punts..
I think TJ was hurt when he got hit helmet to helmet and fumbled. And targeting was not called.
That wasn’t a horse collar it?
Wow! Absolutely the worst start. We missed a catch on first play. Fumbled a paas which I did think had targeting involved. Then should have had an interception nope touchdown Kansas. Let’s go Mountaineer’s! Get it together!

I also thought a couple of those no- calls could have been called pass interference or at least a hold. It will be interesting to see if it’s called differently in conference play. I know it was a big 12 officiating crew but….July 30, 2020 at 12:16 pm in reply to: Improved Audio An Important Part Of WVU Scoreboard Upgrades #119905
I for one and excited about the upgrades especially in the Coliseum. In my section the speaker pointed directly at us. I thought my ears where going to explode. I actually wore ear plugs because it was that loud. So when we are able to witness a game in person… I can leave the ear plugs at home and try to yell loud enough to distract and disturb the visiting team!
Because these are considered “blue blood” programs, I see only a slap on the wrist! I hope not, it gives them an advantage over everything basketball… If they don’t the NCAA should just go away. My opinion!
Nope, not watching again. I hate ND and Pitt!March 6, 2020 at 7:25 pm in reply to: Season’s Final Home Game Brings A Wide Range Of Emotions for WVU’s Three Seniors #113755
Any idea what the big surprise is that the coach mentioned on his TV show? It kind of scares me…
Wow,they look like they have never played basketball before!
Awful start to second half!
The boulevard has reopened. I traveled it about an hour ago. But they have a lane closure currently. So yes, give yourself plenty of time.
Traffic has a potential to be awful again. Not due to snow this year but a couple of complicating factors. First, an even at the CAC.A performance of Rent. Next, not sure the boulevard will be open between 8th street and the CAC due to a rock fall. A PRT was damaged and a car was struck by boulders. 3 injured. Be safe Wednesday!February 4, 2020 at 5:03 pm in reply to: WVU Looks For Additional Signees In Next LOI Period #110569
Any chance we get anyone from Michigan State? Or too late? Just thinking out of the box…
