I saw a different team last week…especially on offense…30-21 WVU.
Order is restored….
As I understand it, so no guarantee of accuracy, 6-6 teams get first priority; then, 5-7 teams are considered based on APR. But only after all 6-6 teams are chosen.
This wasn’t the first time they’ve rolled that wagon; did it at least one other time about 20 years ago.
Except for the grey pants, that is our official “we’re going to lose bad” combo.
Apparently, if you’re a Big 12 team that’s gotten accustomed to losing to WVU, then this is the year to get in a win. They lost tonight to OSU 2-1. I believe that’s their first win against WVU.
Yeah, but can their trombone section take a hit like this?
I see nothing surprising about this. Image/physical appearance has been a factor in job hunting and/or negotiations for centuries.
To me, going for it on 4th down is like taking a true/false test; they say it’s best to go with your first impulse. If your first impulse is that your team is gung-ho to go for it…let it rip. I know that making emotional decisions are frowned upon but emotion and momentum are big parts of the game. As far as hurting the defense, every defense must be prepared to “pitch its way out of a jam” from time to time.
There’s nothing like having leverage; at 10.7 percent, the SEC is basically saying “If you want to play the big boys, you come to our houses.”
“I always found when you have a high competition level you generally end up with a better product and our competition level. They all get along but they all want to be the guy and I don’t think you want it any different than that.”
“Sounds like the field going after the Democratic presidential nomination.”
Except for the part about a better product.
I was at Tech during the Sedale Threatt days. Those were some good teams.July 9, 2019 at 8:13 pm in reply to: Double Dip Of Defenders For WVU Football Recruiting #93721
“99 Problems”….That’s a great nickname.
Did they sing “Country Roads”?June 2, 2019 at 9:00 pm in reply to: A&M Comeback Sends WVU Season To A Crashing Conclusion #91963
I have to file this under “That only happens to WVU”
What’s WVU’s all-time baseball record vs TCU? It seems that whenever we play them the result is bad (especially when a lot is on the line).March 30, 2019 at 3:08 pm in reply to: Photo Gallery V: West Virginia Mountaineers Spring Football #87865
