BC’s Doug Flutie had never beaten the Mountaineers in his three previous seasons as the Eagles’ quarterback. Now with one last chance, Flutie led No. 4-ranked Boston College out to a 20-6 lead in Morgantown. But under the calm demeanor of QB Kevin White, No. 20 West Virginia cam storming back for a 21-20 victory.

    I also liked the 1983 game where Wes Richardson destroyed Troy Stratford on the opening kick off and knocked him out of the game. Also remember Ron Wolfley converting for a TD on a fake punt.
