Brad Paisley Among Slate of Performers Prior To WVU-Tennessee Opener
It might only be the beginning of May, but college football is already on the minds of many. The West Virginia University Mountaineers and University of Tennessee Volunteers are set to open their seasons at the Belk College Kickoff on September 1 at Bank of America Stadium. In celebration of the event, the Inaugural Belk College Kickoff Tailgate Concert will be held Friday, August 31 and will feature Brad Paisley with special guests Kane Brown and Davisson Brothers Band. The lineup for the band was carefully crafted for the game, as Brad Paisley and Davisson Brothers Band are from West Virginia and Kane Brown is from Tennessee.
Critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer, Brad Paisley, has won numerous awards, including three GRAMMYs, two American Music Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards. His 11th studio album, LOVE AND WAR, was released last year and was his 9th consecutive studio album to debut #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Paisley has sold over 11 million albums and has had 32 top 10 singles on the US Billboard Chart with 19 reaching number one.
“The Inaugural Belk College Kickoff Tailgate Concert is a great opportunity for the people of Charlotte and out-of-town fans to come together and get ready to cheer on their teams at the Belk College Kickoff,” said Bob Durkin of Southern Entertainment Group. “It’s sure to be a good time and an awesome show.”
