Bryce Wheaton Commits to West Virginia
By Kevin Kinder
Wide receiver Bryce Wheaton continued a recent flurry of commitments to West Virginia when he committed to the Mountaineers on Wednesday evening. The wide receiver followed family members Garrett Ford Sr., Garrett Ford Jr. and both parents to WVU, and pointed out that third generation tie when announcing his choice.

Wheaton is the eighth overall member in the football class of 2018, and the third in the past week. He is the third potential passcatcher in the class, but the first that is a classic wide receiver prospect. Previous commitments Mike O’Laughlin and T.J. Ivy are both tight end/HBack style receivers.
Wheaton is a very effective runner after the catch, and also shows great ability on end around and reverse plays.
