High scoring or stifling D. You can’t always have it both ways. Good D slows down the game so there aren’t as many chances on O with the ball so your score is lower. We work best when JC/Dax/Esa can trap and turn a quick TO into a score. This seems to ignite even our 1/2 court O. It seems to force the other team to try to emulate what we do and gets them out of position in the 1/2 court. When they settle into the 1/2 court zone we just can’t seem to penetrate well enough or get our spacing right. Our O works best when our D forces them to adjust in transition.
