Huggs KUDO’s for Harler in the post game were telling. Telling of the whole team. If you don’t practice hard you won’t play. Practice and do what you need to do, the way the team needs you, you will get time in the game. There are a few guys that need to heed his remarks.

I’m not sure that Chase will ever be a great scorer, though I could be proven wrong on that. But his hustle and hard work make him a valuable player and one who is a whole lot better defensively than a lot of use gave him credit for last year.

Last year none of the FR were good defenders. Beetle was lost. West although he played a lot of mins was OK only because Macon and Esa were on the floor to take care of him. Sags and Bender were just trying to find out their roles. Look back to even JC and Dax FR years. They were sometimes suspect. It takes time to get used to the level of play Huggs demands on D.
