Huggins Video: WVU Coach Subdued After Loss To K-State
MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–Bob Huggins was subdued in his postgame press conference Monday after his team fell to Kansas State 65-51 at the WVU Coliseum. It was the 12th loss in the past 14 games for the Mountaineers, who fell to 10-16 overall on the season and 2-10 in Big 12 action.
A year after Huggins led West Virginia to its third Sweet 16 berth in the past four years, all four of which ended with at least 25 wins, WVU is assured of a losing regular season as it has just five games left before the league tournament.
The 2018-19 season has weighed heavily on the Mountaineers’ head coach.
