
Neal Brown Discusses Kendall Injury, Allison Performance
MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–Depth is becoming a serious concern for the Mountaineer football team,
West Virginia entered Saturday’s game against Iowa State with a half dozen significant players out because of injuries and various reasons. WVU exited with not only a 38-14 loss to the Cyclones but also even more problems on the injury front.
The most glaring loss was starting quarterback Austin Kendall, who took a big hit in the first quarterback and was forced out of the game with a chest injury. He was unable to return against ISU and his availability for this coming week, against Oklahoma (his old team) and the games to ahead is up in the air.
After Saturday loss to Iowa State, WVU head coach Neal Brown discussed Saturday’s game and also the attrition his team is experiencing.
