Neal Brown Recaps First Signing Day At WVU
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — West Virginia head coach Neal Brown wrapped up a furious month of recruiting work with a press conference on the first day of the 2019 spring signing period. The new Mountaineer head coach’s biggest achievement might have been in keeping the 16 already-committed players in the fold, but he also managed to attract a handful of new recruits into the WVU fold.
Brown said that his main goals in this class were to solidify the 16 signees from December, and also buttress some areas of need with the final scholarships available. With three signees coming in today, West Virginia has three scholarships remaining in the Class of 2019.
