New WVU Football Training Table Ranks Among Best In Nation
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — It’s only been open for a few days, but West Virginia’s new football training table takes a back seat to none.
That’s the opinion, at least of football director of sports nutrition Taylor Lile, who has made the springboarding of new facilities a specialty in her still-young career. She has worked at football facilities palaces such as Oklahoma and Oregon, but said that West Virginia’s newly-opened space is a top ten venue.
“I really still want to build programs. That excites me,” said Lile, who has also worked for the Dallas Cowboys and NBA G-League Texas Legends. “This being brand new, and this being a position where I’m the dietician just for football, I thought ‘there’s a lot of growth and a lot of education I can do with student athletes’.”
Lile joked that “only the TV in my office” is something that needs improvement at the moment, and added that despite renovations by a number of other Power 5 schools, West Virginia is now positioned in the top group.
“We’re cutting-edge and we’re up there,” Lile said. “I don’t think we’re missing anything.”
