MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – With the home opener just three weeks away, work crews are putting finishing touches on the west side renovations at West Virginia’s Milan Puskar Stadium. BlueGoldNews.com takes you inside for a look at what awaits fans when they file in on Sept. 9.
The concourses have been widened on the west side of Mountaineer Field. The new concession stands in the southwest corner of Mountaineer Field. A view to the field from a portal on the west side. Like on the east side, the new concession stands on the west side of Mountaineer Field allow space away from the concourse areas for fans wanting to buy items. A new kitchen was constructed below ground level on the west side to provide catering services for the concession stands, suites and pressbox at Mountaineer Field. The new HD video board that now stands over the north end of Mountaineer Field is 23.6 feet high and 85 feet long.
