Tailgaters Rejoice: Night Games Set For WVU Football
After a 2017 season filled with noon home starts, West Virginia is getting some night games on its 2018 slate. WVU will be playing at least three home contests under the lights at Milan Puskar Stadium.
The Youngstown State game on Saturday, Sept. 8, will be televised at 6 p.m. on AT&T SportsNet. The Baylor game, on Thursday, Oct. 25, will be televised at 7 p.m. on FS1, and the Oklahoma game on Friday, Nov. 23, will be televised at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
Last year, WVU kicked off five of its six home games at noon, while the Iowa State game was a 3:30 p.m. start.
As previously announced, the season opener against Tennessee on Saturday, Sept. 1 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, will be televised at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
The NC State game on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina, will be televised at 3:30 p.m. on either ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The remainder of the 2018 television schedule and game times, including home contests against Kansas State, Kansas and TCU, will be announced on a 12-day or six-day window starting in September
