Who do you think will be leaving. Coach
Must know another person is leaving.

It’s said that Esa pulled his name and will return.

I’ll admit I don’t have any inside information on who is leaving, but with WVU now one over the scholarship limit with Haley’s signing, obviously someone will not be back. And that ultimately could need to be two departures because Emmitt Matthews is visiting this week, and if he ultimately commits as well, that puts WVU two over the scholarship limit. I think the odds now are that Konate returns to WVU for his junior year, but that’s not a definite yet. Same for Ahmad. If they both return, I’d say the most likely scenarios are that Harler transfers and Routt goes back to walk-on status. But at this point, nothing is leaking out about what will ultimately happen.

Rumors are going around that Teddy Allen might transfer. I don’t see it happening.

That rumor was floated on another site by a not so informed poster.
    Have another source?

WVU sports info dept has heard nothing on Allen transferring and if talk was out they would have heard something.

That was probably based on this tweet:

A lot of things get read into tweets and social media posts. Sometimes it’s relevant, but sometimes it has nothing to do with playing status or school.

Harler Did not play a lot during the
Last part of the season. He could be the one transferring. Do not think it will be
    Allen.

    Bought into Huggs system.

Has the chance, but they are players at different positions. WVU’s systems are flexible enough that they can play three guards or three or four taller players – it just depends on their ability to adapt and run offense, especially motion. No doubt that Huggs can design things to take advantage of what he has on the roster.

Allen’s departure really highlights the need for a guard who can drive and score in traffic. Haley, you would think, should be able to run some of the post up sets that were run for Allen and Dax last year.
