WVU Holds 31-14 Halftime Lead At Oklahoma State
STILLWATER, OKLA. – Three Oklahoma State turnovers helped West Virginia build a 31-14 lead going into halftime.
Cowboy quarterback Taylor Cornelius had a pair of interceptions and OSU also committed a fumble. WVU didn’t turn the football over, and while its offense missed a couple first half scoring opportunities, it still scored 31 points in the opening 30 minutes, which was the third most it has put on the board in the opening half this season.
The Mountaineers totaled 329 yards of total offense with 170 on the ground and 159 through the air. OSU had 208 yards of total offense – 89 rushing and 119 passing.
Oklahoma State will get the kickoff to start the second half.
