Due to inclement weather expected in the Morgantown area, Friday night’s baseball game between No. 17 West Virginia University and George Washington has been canceled.

The two teams will conclude their series, and their regular seasons, with a single game as scheduled on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Prior to Saturday’s game, seniors Ivan Gonzalez, Darius Hill, Zach Reid and Andrew Zitel will be recognized, and WVU graduates Hill, Reid, Zitel, senior Braden Zarbnisky and juniors Chase Illig, TJ Lake, Dillon Meadows and Cody Wood will be honored. Senior Day and graduation ceremonies will begin at approximately 1:40 p.m.

Saturday also is Armed Forces Day, with all active and retired military members eligible to receive a discounted $3 ticket by showing a valid military I.D. Additionally, there will be postgame autographs, and kids can run the bases after the game.
